Explorations in Swellegant: Raw and Rusty Techniques by Debbie Crothers

Video Tutorial

Learn how to use the entire Swellegant range in this informative video tutorial.  I’ll show you how you can achieve amazing surface effects using Swellegant Metal Coatings, Swellegant Patina and Swellegant Dye-Oxides.  You’ll learn how to create a range of incredible, rusty looking, polymer clay veneers.  With just a few “tweaks” to the original techniques, you’ll be on your way to creating your own unique range of exciting veneers.  Premo and Kato clay are both used in this tutorial.  The component project is one of my favourites – Raw and Rusty Sticks.  I’ll be demonstrating two ways these sticks can be created and offer inspirational images at the very end of the video tutorial.

This video contains detailed instructions on creating:

  • A raw and rusty basic veneer.
  • A raw and rusty crackle veneer.
  • A raw and rusty crackle variation.
  • Raw and rusty stick beads (jewellery/art components).

I’ve also included an informative Q&A section in the PDF download and will make myself available to answer any of your questions in regard to this tutorial.

After purchase you will receive a PDF file containing the video link to your tutorial.  This will save to your computers downloads.  Keep this PDF file in a safe location on your computer, so you can easily find it and gain access to re-watch the tutorial at any time.
