Who doesn’t love a good crackle! And who doesn’t love birds! Hmmm what about birds with crackle…now there’s a thought! This is an easy technique for creating a crackle veneer that can be manipulated into a 3-dimensional shape. In this video tutorial you’ll learn how to create the crackle veneer, the bird body veneer, the bird body core and finally shaping the bird itself. This is a fun class with minimal tools and materials which, when mastered, can be explored in many different ways.
Note: The one thing you will definitely need in this class is a heat gun. An embossing gun, hair dryer or any other sort of heat blow tool simply won’t work.
